MobyMag Newsletter #12:
June

Letter from the Editor

Hey MobyMaggers,

Well, we’re a bit late this month. You may have noticed some gremlins got into the site and wreaked some havoc – that’s what happens when you feed them after midnight! Nevertheless, we have another issue ready and rocking. Stave off that winter boredom with another Catherine Brown review, this time of the epically unusual Kick-Ass, and we welcome two new contributors to the fold with their short story and poetry submissions.

It’s a short one this time and things are going to be changing here at MobyMag from now on. Instead of doing monthly releases, I will be editing and updating content as it arrives so there will always be something to read on these dull, rainy days. Never fear, I will still do a newsletter at the start of the month recapping everything that’s happened for those who may have missed it.

We’re also launching our new Twitter submissions in earnest this month, so just slap #mobymag on those brilliant one-liners, haikus and topical observations and we’ll post them on the site. You have an opinion, and we want to hear it!

As always, we love submissions of all sorts, so let us know what’s making you tick and send in those pieces! If you’re stuck for ideas, our theme for next month is Blue. Short and sweet, make of it what you will!

I look forward to seeing more amazing work from you all.

Enjoy!

Love,
Your MobyMag Editor
Jen
